Trump Set to CRUSH Obama Immigration Legacy With New Executive Orders

by Brian Hayes | Top Right News

In his meeting with the newly-elected President Donald Trump on November 10th, Barack Obama urged his replacement not to halt the flow of “refugees” into the United States.

But according to breaking reports, President Trump will do exactly that, and then some.

Just four days after he took the oath of office, Trump is stopping Obama’s mass importation of Muslim “refugees” in its tracks, with one massive stroke of his pen.

And he won’t stop there.

From Reuters:

On Wednesday Donald Trump will sign several executive orders restricting immigration from 7 Muslim nations.

The president is expected to sign the orders at the Washington headquarters of the Department of Homeland Security, whose responsibilities include immigration and border security.

Trump’s orders are said to involve halting access to the United States for refugees and some visa holders from seven mostly Muslim nations including Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

Additionally, Trump’s restrictions on refugees are likely to include a multi-month ban on all admissions from all countries until the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security can increase the intensity of the vetting process.

Trump is reportedly “open to expanding that list” of nations, and signing “additional immigration orders, including the border wall” once Rex Tillerson is confirmed by the Senate as Secretary of State, and Sen, Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

Trump made the halting of Islamic “refugees” into the U.S. a major campaign promise, particularly after a Muslim couple granted entry slaughtered 14 Americans in a 2015 terror attack in San Bernardino, and numerous attacks in Europe carried out by ISIS migrants posing as refugees.

Obama’s DHS chief Jeh Johnson shockingly admitted the Obama Administration had no effective method in place to vet those refugees.

Reuters said Trump will sign the orders at DHS after swearing-in newly-confirmed DHS Secretary, retired General John Kelly.

And reportedly, Trump will sign other immigration-related orders that will include:

  • Directing all agencies to finish work on a biometric identification system for non-citizens entering and exiting the United States.
  • A crackdown on immigrants fraudulently receiving government benefits.

As 40% of all illegal aliens were legal visa holders who illegally overstayed those visas, the entry/exit tracking system is the only way to enforce violations and deport offenders. But both the George W. Bush and Obama administrations have dragged their feet on implementing what Federal law requires. Trump has made it clear it will be a top priority.

The U.S. spends tens of billions every year on welfare, food stamp and Medicaid expenses for illegal aliens. If Trump signs an order targeting this, it will setup a huge battle with “blue” states to cut illegals off the government trough.

It is also rumored that Trump may sign an executive order regarding sanctuary cities, but Reuters could not confirm this. Top Right News has learned from House GOP sources that Trump would prefer Congressional action on sanctuary cities to effectuate a ban on Federal funds to states and cities unlawfully protecting illegal aliens from enforcement.

Obama imported 20,000 Syrian “refugees” into the U.S. in 2016 alone, and ramped up the numbers to a reported 500 per day in January. This action by Trump would immediately drop that number to zero.

These actions are stunning former Obama staff and left-wing activist groups, who vow to sue Trump for “Islamophobic restrictions” on refugees and immigration.

These actions, if taken would be just the latest executive orders Trump has taken to reverse the Obama “legacy,” and stop far-left policies in their tracks.

Trump signed executive orders withdrawing the U.S. from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, halting U.S. funding of overseas abortions, freezing all hiring of Federal workers outside the military, and re-starting the Keystone Pipeline in his first 3 days in office.
