Trump Doubles Down: Criminal Illegals Will Be Gone “IMMEDIATELY” on First Day

by Jason DeWitt | Top Right News

Donald Trump joined This Week with George Stephanopoulos on ABC today to defend his newly released immigration reform plan.

In a plan released earlier this month, Trump called for an end to birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens and for the deportation of most illegal aliens.

The liberal media and many of Trump’s opponents have attacked him over the plan, and the aggressive ABC anchor tried to trip up the billionaire mogul with a silly “$400 billion” estimate from one of Jeb’s PACs.

Trump did not even dignify it by going defensive, instead slamming Bush as weak, and doubling down on this tough plan, saying he would deport criminal illegal immigrants on Day One.

It’s amazing how Stephanopoulos, who left Jeb and Scott Walker on the defensive last week, seemed completely stymied by ‘The Donald’…

Trump is using talking points on illegals that we have rarely heard from a GOP candidate — such as mentioning “30 million” illegals instead of the ridiculous “11.2” figure that the pro-amnesty crowd knows is B.S. but uses anyway. And Trump — for the first time I have ever heard — actually cited anti-amnesty group FAIR’s $130 billion annual cost for illegals.

Talk about changing the conversation.
