In a shocking turn of events, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is now floating the possibility that the Las Vegas gunman, Stephen Paddock could have been radicalized, by an as-yet unknown source. Law enforcement are currently investigating the matter.
During a live press conference, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo revealed that the Las Vegas gunman, Stephen Paddock, may have been “radicalized” and that authorities were attempting to uncover the source of his radicalization.
“Did this person get radicalized unbeknownst to us? And we want to identify that source,” said Lombardo.
If confirmed, this suggests that there may have been a political, or terrorist, motive behind the massacre.

Forensic psychiatrist Dr. Michael Welner said Tuesday, Paddock may have deliberately targeted conservatives attending a country music concert.
Rita Katz from the very reputable SITE Intelligence Group released a series of statements on Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas mass murderer.
On Monday ISIS took responsibility for the attack. And in a rare move released a follow-up statement to say Paddock had converted to Islam in recent months.

It was a rare event that the #ISIS news agency Amaq released a follow-up statement (its follow-up about Paddock purportedly converting to Islam). The last time they did this was in relation to the Orlando Pulse nightclub mass shooting by ISIS member Omar Mateen in 2016.
As with this event, Amaq did not provide any proof for their then-claim about Mateen, but a loyalty oath to ISIS was later found in his car by police after he murdered 49 people.
Earlier today, Sheriff Lobardo named Paddock’s live-in girlfriend Marilou Danley, as a “person of interest” in the massacre.

Danley reportedly went to her native Philippines after visiting Dubai prior to the Vegas attack.
The Sheriff’s office did provide further details on what they know about her possible involvement, or what potential charges she could be facing.
Authorities today also revealed that Paddock has transferred $100,000 to the Philippines in the week before the massacre.
