Mother of Border Agent Murdered by Illegal Aliens : ‘I Will Not Rest Until These Worthless Pieces of S**t Are Dead’

by Brian Hayes | Top Right News

A mother who watched her Border Patrol agent son gunned down in front of her, his wife and his children at the hands of two illegal aliens has vowed not to rest until his ‘worthless piece of s**t’ killers are dead.’

Marie Vega was on a family fishing trip with her husband Javier, son Javier Jr., his wife Paola and their three kids when they were ambushed by two armed Mexican illegal aliens.

Javier Jr and his father bravely tried to fight them off, but the off-duty border agent was fatally shot in the chest and Javier Sr was shot in the hip.

After she had to witness the agony of her own son’s murder, Vega then had to find out that the two illegal aliens had been previously deported SIX times between them.

Mexican aliens Gustavo Tijernia, 30 and Ismael Hernandez, 40 fled the scene and were arrested hours later after a massive man hunt.

The ruthless killing kept the focus on Barack Obama’s disastrous open borders polices, including the uncontrolled flood of hundrds of thousands of illegal alien children, gang members and violent criminals over the past 10 months since Obama virtually eliminated immigration enforcement in the United States.

Americans are outraged by the border chaos, and deeply concerned going into the midterm elections. According to Gallup, illegal immigration ranks as the top concern for most voters, supplanting the economy and health care as the most important issue.

And they blame Obama. The president is polling way underwater at 31-68% on his handling of immigration, and this savage killing underscores his complete, willful failure to secure the border and enforce the law.

On Tuesday devastated mom Marie Vega posted an emotionally charged message on her Facebook page alongside a picture of her beloved son, according to the Daily Mail

Marie, who works as a photographer, wrote: ‘My sweet sweet baby. I failed you oh sweet child of mine. I was supposed to protect you and keep you safe. I failed to save your life. I wish a million times I had died and not you. You are my life, my heart was ripped out when I lost you. I will not rest until these worthless pieces of s*** are dead.’

Hundreds of law enforcement officers turned out for Javier Vega’s mass, held at St. Francis Xavier Church in La Feria on Thursday. The car lot was packed with State Trooper Vehicles, local police cars and SUV’s from Javier’s colleagues in The Border Patrol.

As his coffin was carried out at the end of the ceremony, officers held up the flags of The Border Patrol, The US Marine Corp and The Stars and Stripes.

Javier was a Border Patrol veteran of six years and had previously served in the U.S. Marine Corp, like his brother Jordy (both brothers pictured below).

On Sunday he travelled to his favorite fishing hole around 20 minutes north of La Feria with his mother, father, wife and three boys Javier Vega III, Jiovanni, and Jarod.

Tijernia and Hernandez pulled up to the secluded spot in a car and tried to rob them at gun point.

When Javier bravely reached for his weapon, they shot him in the chest. TheBlaze reported that his last words were ‘keep shooting, dad’. It is believed Javier Sr then grabbed the gun and shot at the robbers, but was blasted in the hip. He has now been released from hospital.

Willacy County Sheriff Larry Spence told TheBlaze that Marie even picked up an AR-15 rifle and shot at the suspects’ vehicle as the suspects fled.

They eventually crashed their car and took refuge in a neighbor’s house. The home owner alerted Border Patrol officers to their location and scores of agents moved in to arrest them.

They were arraigned on Tuesday and charged with capital murder, attempted capital murder, four counts of aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence.

On Tuesday FoxNews reported both Tijernia, 30 and Hernandez, 40 had been arrested and deported numerous times.

According to court records, Tijerina, who also goes by the name Tijerina-Sandoval, pleaded guilty to entering the U.S. illegally on July 9, 2007. He was given a 30-day sentence with credit for time served and charged a $10 fee.

Three months later, on Oct. 4, he was again found guilty of entering the country illegally and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and $10 fee. In a criminal complaint, he said he entered the U.S.on Sept. 1 and was confronted by border patrol agents near Weslaco, Texas, on Oct. 3. He had waded across the Rio Grande River near Progreso, Mexico, court records show.

A year later, on Oct. 25, 2008, he again entered the U.S by crossing the river. On Nov. 18, 2008, he was given 90 days in jail and another $10 special assessment fee.

On Dec. 15, 2009, Tijerina was indicted by a grand jury on charges of entering the U.S. illegally yet again.

The indictment says he ‘had previously been denied admission, excluded, deported and removed, knowing and unlawfully was present in the United States having been found near Edinburg, Texas.’

Court records say he had not obtained permission from the U.S. attorney general and the secretary of homeland security to reapply for admission into the U.S.

A warrant was issued for his arrest stating he faced up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

He was held without bond on Jan. 26, 2010 and was given nine months in jail and fined $100.

Sources confirmed to Fox News that these cases involved the same Tijerina who is accused of slaying of Javier Vega.

The sources also said Hernandez, the second suspect, has been deported twice for entering the U.S. illegally, according to FoxNews.

The National Border Patrol Council has set up a memorial fund for Javier’s widow and his three children.

Don’t be surprised when open season is declared at the border by fed up Americans. Enough is enough!!

    • Lynette Speroni

Oh, YES PLEASE!!!!! My heart breaks for this mom!

  • Ed

if this happened to me, I wouldn’t rest until they were dead too

  • 3VWdriver

I would gladly join his Mother in seeking Justice, or Revenge…however anyone wants to put it.

  • Fred Young

When will our government get serious and keep this kind of garbage from coming here? How many more need to die before they take real action? If the government truly wanted to stop ALL cross border crime; drug smuggling, arms smuggling, cartel money movement, contraband of all kinds, illegal immigration, human trafficking for sexploitation, to name a few, all they would have to do is build a working canal along our border with Mexico, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific. This would also create thousands upon thousands of jobs, create a low cost, pollution reducing method of transporting goods from coast to coast by using electric “mules” to pull the ships through powered by solar panel farms along the way.

    • Teresa Hobgood

Mr. Young, that has got to be the most productive, pro-active and Ecological solution to this crisis I have ever seen posted on any website concerning the border problem this country is facing…and I have read many, as I have family in the southern US that I am constantly concerned for. Kudos to you, sir!! =) Now if only our powers-that-be would only take such a suggestion seriously, and literally! I would like to request, if I may, that you send a copy of your ideas to your congressman, senator, representative….anyone that will listen, actually, even if you have to start with the governor of your home state and hope it works its way up the ranks. Even if they claim the idea as their own, it would be great to have it out there! God bless you, sir!

      • Fred Young

Thank you Teresa. It is refreshing to hear from someone that sees merit in my humane solution to end cross border crime. Pass it on if you will. Maybe someone that has the power to effect change will see it.

For over two years I have tried to contact politicians from elected to appointed national and local officials using all kinds of methods about this solution to this national problem that affects millions and millions of people with not even a modicum of interest from any of them. All I ever get is a standard reply from the staff of only a very few of them.

This is truly a real solution that deserves the direct attention and consideration of the top officials of our government.

This is a grassroots effort and I’m looking for anybody that knows how to directly contact anyone of importance in our government, bypassing the staff quagmire and screeners. It’s driving me bonkers having a real, humane solution to a major problem and not being able to get directly through to those in government that could make a difference. Any suggestions?

        • Imtoooldforthis

I’m sending a copy to my governor. Thank you for the permission.

        • slongmanAZ

For those of you that thinks this idea would be too difficult please google the Central Arizona Water Project. It is a massive canal that runs almost 400 continous miles through various terrain and is protected with seroius fences and alarms.

      • DixieAngel_76

It is a good idea, which is exactly why they won’t do it. This inside out, and upside down government reminds me of ‘Bizarro’, Superman’s evil twin. They seem to go out of their way to hurt us and help our enemies.

      • kathin9

Have seen the rio Grande? Teresa?, Fred? Great idea, completely UN- doable.

        • Imtoooldforthis

The Rio Grande maybe low and polluted now but it does not mean the water cannot be diverted to fill it or clean it up. The Mexican Government doesn’t have a problem letting large companies pollute the water ways as long as money is made. It’s rather odd how the Mexican government lives so high on the hog but its people get inferior educations, jobs, housing, etc. Or not odd at all because they are just more open about their corruption.

    • DixieAngel_76

      And fill it with sharks.

    • Imtoooldforthis

Thanks Fred I sent your post, minus your name, to the white house site and my governor. I’m not done yet. You’ve inspired me. If you’d like me to use your name let me know and I will.

      • Fred Young

Great, thanks. I can use all the help I can get. Sure, be my guest, you can mention my name but please realize that I didn’t come up with this solution for my personal gain. I am 74 years old and have lived in Southern California for 70 of those years and have personally witnessed many tragedies directly related to the ever increasing crime spilling over our border with Mexico and have always wanted to do something about it. Sure, this would be an enormous undertaking. Much more so than our building of the Panama Canal that was completed in 1914, but the benefits of this canal would be far greater. We have the technology today that can get the job done. I would, however be extremely proud to know I gave the legacy of safety and peace of mind to the citizens of our great country by sharing this solution.

    • Lynette Speroni

Not while we have a sorry excuse for a president.

  • Sherry Taylor-Jackson

Illegals crossing the American border, no matter where they get in, should be considered felons. 3 Strikes, and you’re out. Lock their butts up. The reason these illegals are so daring, is because of the pussy-foot-laws here in America. You better believe they are invading our country to take it over. And I’m not the first one to say it! Our so-called government better get a handle on this, or we AMERICAN CITIZENS, need to take care of business ourselves.

    • Lenora Knapp

Somehow I agree with you, BUT lock their butts up gives them a roof over their heads, a bed to sleep in, three squares a day and complete medical care. Where in the world is there justice in that?

      • Raymond Jeschke

One thing NOT mentioned is who would pay for his confinement? I agree with letting him go but not as thought. Find a gunnery range to release them on and put a platoon of people wanting target practice then let them go! Can you imagine the message that would send to people like them.

    • Jane

Illegally entering the United States is ALREADY a felony, something that is being totally ignored!

  • Joel Rivera

Why let these sh1t stains live? Off’em and dump their carcasses across the border.

  • DixieAngel_76

So sorry Marie, Javier and Paola (and kids). You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

  • DanaLanders

Ten dollar fees, six previous deportations between these two scum, jail time while in the U.S. a slap on the wrist and sent on their way. His mother is absolutely correct. These two p…s’ of shyte need to be taken off the face of this earth. This kind of madness just continues with so many American citizens being murdered by these swill-sucking invaders. Eric Marley is right. Enough is enough and it won’t be long before it’s open season on these wastes of air. I’ve already told my family that if I encounter any of these invaders it isn’t going to be pretty. Time we stand up for America!

  • charliewalksonwater

This murder was probably not the only murder these men committed.

  • ace65

Don’t forget these “dreamers” have been invited into the country by obama and the open borders crowd.

  • olaler

Maybe we should give them all rides to Washington DC , so the ones that let them in can deal with them 🙂

  • Eric Dee

But we must love and cherish ALL things Latino – or we must be surely be racist. I simply do not understand the legally here Mexicans that don’t get the obvious need to control who get’s to come here. I think this mother of a true American-Mexican warrior hero gets it now – Nation of Laws / Country of Broken Laws abd a border in between – not difficult to understand.

  • Reiki-ology Master Healing

Doesn’t she know they are some of Omama’s children? THIS is what MOSTLY comes here.

  • horseradish

Obama does not care to defend our borders and our border guards are free game to the illegals! we need to stand up and demand our elected officials to protect Americans!!!!!

  • Jonathan

Execute them, then send their bodies to the white house.

  • Melinda Owen Ramsey

To think that if when he faced up to 20 years in prison if he had been sentenced to just ten years this mother’s son, a fine servant of our country, would be alive today. The lack of enforcement of our laws or use of the serious penalties available is egregious.
