Michael Brown’s mother for some reason decided it would be a good idea to put her “thoughts” on the news of two cops who were shot in Ferguson this week.
And that’s exactly what Leslie McSpadden did in a Facebook post lashing out at police who were doing nothing more than standing on the sidewalk watching a protest, when a cowardly thug shot them and fled into the crowd — in effect pushing her foot into their wounds with her vicious comments.
Here’s what she said.
“F*** THEM 2 COPS..DON’T GOT NO SYMPATHY FOR THEM OR THEY FAMILIES…Aint no FUN when the Rabbit got the GUN.”
“If my FAM woulda got JUSTICE in August maybe those two comps wouldn’t have got shot LAST NIGHT…”
Disgusting. And after her lawyer likely called to tell her to take it down, McSpadden did exactly that, taking down first the comments, and then the page itself.
Unfortunately for this thug mom, social posts are forever. Although the capture isn’t the best quality, you can clearly see the important bits below:
Keepin’ it classy, McSpadden, as always.
Yes, of course she is angry over the death of her son. But he didn’t die because of a cop. He is dead because he attacked a cop and tried to take his gun, right after committing a strong-arm robbery.
And now that we know the kind of “mom” she was, it really shouldn’t surprise us. Michael Brown was barely “raised” by McSpadden at all. She was absent with different men, while his grandma mainly looked after him. When she was around, what kind of example did she and her husband set for him? We don’t know. But their recent criminal behavior gives a clue.
McSpadden herself violently assaulted that grandma in a wild brawl over “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” t-shirt sales last October. And her husband, Louis Head incited rioting and arson that caused a dozen businesses to be burned down last November.
Both are facing possible felony charges for these actions. This is the example Michael Brown had at home. And that example is on now display for the world to see.
Spewing hatred on social media and causing further pain to the families of the wounded officers isn’t going to bring her son back, nor make others sympathetic to her (misguided) opinions on race relations in America.
Instead, it makes her appear to be a vindictive, cruel, mean person who just wants revenge and is willing to take out her rage on innocent people.
Perhaps she’ll come to her senses and make a statement apologizing for what she said about these officers. But I am not holding my breath.
