Liberal sports network ESPN has hemorrhaged 10 million viewers over the past year alone, as they have veered further to the political far left, and injected anti-Trump coverage into nearly every show in 2016.
But with an insane move the network made today, they are proving radio host Michael Savage’s adage, “Liberalism is a mental disorder.”
ESPN has pulled an announcer from calling a University of Virginia football game out of fear that his name, Robert Lee, would offend viewers.
That’s because it is “very similar” to (Confederate General) Robert E. Lee.
To make the situation even more bizarre, Lee is actually of Asian descent.
Yep…you read that right. Here is the man ESPN was terrified would trigger viewers with nightmares about the Civil War and slavery:

No, this is NOT from The Onion.
The popular college football blog Outkick the Coverage broke the story:
Is this even real life anymore? This might even be worse than MSESPN apologizing for the fantasy football slave draft a couple of weeks ago. […]
But, seriously, is there anything more pathetic than ESPN believing people would be offended by an Asian guy named Robert Lee sharing a name with Robert E. Lee and calling a football game? Aside from some hysterical photoshops and Internet memes which would make everyone with a functional brain laugh — Robert E. Lee pulling out all the stops to stay in Charlottesville now! — what was the big fear here? Does ESPN really believe people are this dumb or that having an Asian announcer named Robert Lee is too offensive for the average TV viewer to handle?
Yes, yes they do.
But NO ONE could believe it was anything but a hoax. And many of us wished it were. We were not so lucky.,
ESPN issued the following statement to the blog confirming their crazy move:
We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue.
WaPo reporter received same ESPN statement. It is 100% real. I mean it's still unreal, but it's genuine. https://t.co/GeLf0slH7u

Tucker Carlson seemed dumbfounded by the news on tonight’s program.
Can we as Americans please use ESPN’s insanity to STOP the Antifa Taliban-driven hysteria over tearing down American history?
