Last year, 18-year-old Raymond Frolander was caught in the act of raping a 11-year-old boy. A boy he was supposed to be babysitting, as TRN reported at the time.
But it was who caught him that makes it lucky Frolander is still breathing.
That’s because the person who caught the sick predator was the boy’s father.
And this is what Dad did to Frolander, after catching him with his pants around his ankles:
You wouldn’t be able to guess from the photo above that the teenager once looked like this:
Here was Frolander at his sentencing on Thursday in a Daytona Beach courtroom:
The father was not charged with a single crime for doing what any dad would likely want to do, given the horror of the crime he stopped.
In fact, the police chief even said, “Dad was acting like a dad.”
For that crime, Raymond Frolander was sentenced to 25 years in prison for child molestation.
IJReview quoted how the boy’s father reacted at the sentencing:
After the hearing, the father was short with reporters outside the courtroom.
“He’s going to learn in the next 25 years why I let him live,” the father said.
That’s because, as ABC News detailed, ‘prison is a living hell for pedophiles,’ and that in many cases they need protective custody because some inmates are parents.
On his way out of the courtroom, the boy’s father — who by all accounts is a modest construction worker who cannot stand the publicity of this case — said this to the assembled media throng:
“Now I can’t afford to replace y’all’s cameras so move.”
With that the father, wearing a football jersey, walked through and around reporters and out of the courthouse.
