Conservatives Team up in Hilarious Parody of Hollywood Celebs’ Political Videos

by Jason DeWitt | Top Right News

You can always count on knee-jerk Hollywood celebs to come out against the “anti-environment,” “racist,” “hateful” Republican presidential candidate, no matter who they are.

As as IJR reports, their most “effective” method of combatting the evils of conservatism is the dreaded Hollywood political video, starring, um, them:

In fact, these videos are so effective that, sometimes, they even make them after elections are over.

Such was the case earlier this week when the likes of Sally Field, Steve Buscemi, Rosie Perez, and others trotted themselves out to rail against the “racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, anti-worker, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic, anti-environmental,” yadda, yadda, yadda, devil incarnate, Donald Trump.

Yes, it was a Tinseltown sight to behold

So a few conservative media folks — Guy Benson, S.E. Cupp, Katie Pavlich, Mary Katharine Ham, and Mollie Hemingway — got together to create a video of their own, titled “A Special Message to Predictable, Self-Important Hollywood Celebrities.”

Fox News anchor Jenna Lee applauded their efforts:

But Twitter user Nigel Bennett summed up how most of America feels about its Hollywood celebs — something many of those very celebs are unable to comprehend:

“You exist for my entertainment. Some of you are great eye candy. Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that you bring tears to my eyes. Some of you can scare the crap out of me. Others make me laugh.

But you all have one thing in common, you only have a place in my world to entertain me. That’s it. You make your living pretending to be someone else. Playing dress-up like a six-year-old. You live in a make-believe world in front of a camera. And often when you are away from one, too.

Your entire existence depends on my patronage. I’ll crank the organ grinder, you dance. I don’t really care where you stand on the issues.”

So will the Hollyweirdos ever “get it”? Not a chance. And as long as they don’t, most Americans in “flyover country” will continue to get behind Trump.
