The mainstream media is doing all it can to paint a portrait of the Ft. Lauderdale airport shooter that avoids facts that are inconvenient to their far-left narrative.
That narrative is that Estaban Santiago is an Iraq War vet with PTSD who “snapped” after arguing with fellow passengers — retrieving a gun from his luggage after “losing it” and killing 5 people at the Florida airport’s baggage claim.
But some startling new facts about the shooter’s true motives are rushing in…and the media is censoring them completely.
Santiago was born in 1990 in New Jersey. He grew up in Puerto Rico and currently lived within walking distance of Alaska’s only mosque.
The mainstream media posted the photo of Santiago below but will not mention that he is wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh, a garment made famous by Palestinian terror leader Yassier Arafat. Santiago is also holding his finger in a position in the “ISIS salute” common to fighters for the Islamic State.
Now we just found out that Santiago’s journey to radical Islam had a long and disturbing path.
Fort Lauderdale Airport terrorist Esteban Santiago registered on MySpace under the name “Aashiq Hammad” and recorded Islamic religious music on the site, 3 years before he deployed to Iraq as a U.S. soldier, destroying the mainstream media’s narrative that he was just a mentally disturbed veteran and that “Islam had nothing to do with it.”
Here’s how we know all that:
A search of public records database Nexis reveals that Puerto Rican Esteban Santiago has a brother named Bryan Santiago and two e-mails registered to his name:
The second e-mail, “Naota33@hotmail.com”, is how GotNews exclusively visually identified Santiago before every mainstream media outlet and discovered he was posting on an explosives/weapons forum about mass-downloading and distributing Islamic terrorist propaganda videos in 2007.
“Aashiq Hammad” lists Penuelas, Puerto Rico as his location, just like Esteban Santiago’s records in Nexis.
And take a look at the three songs recorded by “Aashiq Hammad.” The first one is titled “La ilaha illAllah”, which is Arabic for “There is no God but Allah,” and the first half of the Muslim declaration of faith, the Shahadah:
Here is the Ft. Lauderdale shooter himself singing the Shahadah:

“Intentional” recitation of the Shahadah is generally considered sufficient to convert to Islam, according to Quora.com.
But GotNews points out this disturbing fact:
That song was recorded in 2007, 3 years before Esteban Santiago went to Iraq as a U.S. soldier in 2010, destroying the mainstream media’s narrative that he was a “mentally disturbed veteran”, although even they admit Santiago went into an FBI office in 2015 and told agents he was being “forced” to watch ISIS videos.
And tonight, the media’s story about Santiago’s supposed “air rage” has completely fallen apart — thanks to a revelation by the FBI itself:
NBC News reported Saturday night:
Court documents say Santiago told the FBI after the shooting that he planned the attack, buying a one-way ticket from Anchorage and checked a box with a Walther 9 mm handgun and the two ammunition magazines he used in the shooting.
Santiago told the FBI that after landing he retrieved the checked handgun case, went to a bathroom and loaded the weapon, and then tucked it into his waistband and left the restroom, where he shot the first people he encountered, according to a criminal complaint.
NBC also reported Santiago “had sold his possessions” in Alaska prior to the trip to Florida, including “stereo and musical equipment” (used to record Islamic songs?) as well as clothes and furniture.
More confirmation that this was a planned terrorist attack…and most likely motivated by radical Islam.
But that’s not what America is hearing from so-called “journalists” today.
