It was the NBA Playoffs in Dallas last nught, as the Houston Rockets took on the hometown Mavericks for game two of the opening round.
As the crowd settled in for an exciting game, 12-year-old Nicholas Connors strolled to the mic to sing the national anthem.
He didn’t just sing it — he absolutely crushed it.
Connors’ version was so awesome that Houston Texans star J.J. Watt jumped from his seat and ran across the floor to give him a hug and congratulate young Nicolas.
When Connors’ realized who his surprise visitor was, his look was absolutely priceless.
Once you see Conor’s rendition, you’ll fully get J.J. reaction…
On Wednesday, Watt asked Twitter to help him get in touch with Connors after he “dominated” the national anthem.
Could y'all help me get in contact with Nicholas? He dominated the national anthem last night. https://t.co/bcu48d4kJA
