“Al Sharpton got what he wanted.”
So said a guest commentator on CNN minutes ago, after reports that 2 New York City police officers were shot to death — execution-style — as they sat in their squad car, by a man who boasted on his Instagram account about wanting to kill cops in revenge for Eric Garner & Michael Brown
The New York Post reported:
“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source said of the 3 p.m. shooting of the two officers, whose names were being withheld pending family notification of their deaths.
The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill when they were shot point-blank in their heads by the lone gunman, who approached them on foot from the sidewalk at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Bed-Stuy.
“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.
UPDATE: Ismaaiyl Brinsley, a 28-year-old black male, posted to the now-deleted Instagram account that he was getting revenge for the death’s of Staten Island man Eric Garner and Missouri teen Michael Brown.
The post included an image of silver automatic handgun with a wooden handle. Another post showed camouflage pants and blue sneakers which matched the clothing the dead gunman was wearing as his body was carried from the scene on a stretcher.
“They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”
“Erase this man come on,” a follower wrote.
A second post a short time later appears to have been made shortly after he gunned the officers down.
One of the posts included his camouflage pants spattered with the blood of the slain officers:
“Never had a hot gun on your waist and blood on your shoe… N***a you ain’t [sic] been through what I been through you not like me and I’m not like you #BrooklynGoHard #ConeyIsland.”
People reading the post were shocked.
“Wow,” wrote one.
“This f*****g terrorist piece of s**t,” wrote another.
A third said: “You’re going to be dead soon enough. Enjoy hell dumba**. You just killed yourself defending another lowlife.”
UPDATE: Stunning video from the scene (via LiveLeak):
The gunman was a fugitive who had shot his ex-girlfriend in Baltimore Saturday morning, sources told The Post.
Remember that it was just one week ago today when Al Sharpton supporters marched through the streets of NYC chanting the now haunting refrain: “What do we want? DEAD COPS! When do we want it? NOW!”
This is incitement to murder — capital murder of two NYPD officers.
Retired NYPD detective Harry Houck echoed the views of many Americans in blasting the protesters and their corrupt “leaders:”
Houck said the demonstrations have “all be predicated on lies,” and even went so far as to declare, “We have two dead police officers, and I guess Al Sharpton got what he wanted.”
The douchebag shot himself (below with EMS) as police moved in on his position. Good riddance.
Waiting now for our race-baiter-in-chief to tell us how this kind of vicious hate crime won’t go unpunished, and for him to denounce the mail-order “Reverend” Sharpton and his supporters for inciting these murders.
I won’t hold my breath.
UPDATE: Blogger Kristinn Taylor noted how Obama and his corrupt A.G. have had nothing to say about this clear assasination, unlike their rapid denunciation of another murder:
As of this writing, about 7:30 p.m. EST, there have been no statements issued on behalf of or by President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder regarding the execution of two New York City police officers around 3 p.m. EST
In contrast Obama rushed out a statement within hours of the May 31, 2009 assassination of (notorious late-term) abortionist George Tiller.
Likewise Holder rushed out a statement on the Tiller assassination within hours the same day.
The disgraceful contrast is noted, Mr. President.
UPDATE: It’s been more than four hours since the police officers were executed and still nothing on Mayor De Blasio’s Twitter page….
This of course is the same DeBlasio who within 2 hours of the Eric Garner grand jury decision declared that the killing of Garner at the hands of police was a result of “centuries of racism” — despite our report that the supervising Sergeant at the Garner scene was a Black Female, who — alone — made the decision to confront and take down Garner.
